79 Year-Old Woman Earns Degree at ISU

Shirley Smith  finishes her degree at Iowa State University 62 years later after life circumstances pulled her away from her studies. She never gave-up on the dream of finishing school.  Some of her credits from classes taken in 1940s would be transferred and count toward her degree.
